Huka Fun & Back to the Studio

Thanks to all who joined us on Friday night at the Huka Bar. It was a great place to play, and what a great crowd! We look forward to playing at the Huka Bar again. One of my favorite moments was when Thom Bowers, one of the originators of FloydShow and a member of Sons of Nothing, joined us on “Comfortably Numb.” Thom has such great energy and musicianship, and it’s always a joy to share the stage with such a great musician. We should have some photos posted shortly from this gig.

In the meanwhile, check out some early FloydShow recordings at http://www.floydshow.com/media/audio.html. –And yes, the rumors are true! FloydShow is going back into the studio to record some more samples. Stayed tuned as we should have more audio files posted in December/January.

Much love,

Amy (Keyboards/Vocals)

The Huka Bar

FloydShow will be playing tomorrow night at The Huka Bar located on 151 East 6100 South in Murray, Utah. It’s been several years since Sons of Nothing played at The Huka Bar. We are looking forward to reappearing there with the new FloydShow line up. We plan on taking the stage around 9:30pm. Our two set show will encompass songs from Animals, Dark Side of the Moon, and The Wall along with some timeless tunes from the early Barrett years of Floyd. We are expecting a great turn out, so make sure to get reservations and arrive early. So come smoke some huka and enjoy our tunes!

Don’t forget to connect with us on the following social networking sites (pick your poison):

We just launched our Facebook profile a few weeks ago for all you Facebookers out there.

Mellow on!

Love you all,
Amy (Keyboards/Vocal)

P.S. Make sure to check out Sons of Nothing tomorrow, November 15th at Salt Rock Coffee in Ogden, Utah. They will be sure to impress SoN fans with material from their last three albums. For more details, go to http://www.sonsofnothing.com/RockShow/gig/179/.
